Every garage is checked for a UK trading address, valid VAT or company registration where applicable, current public liability insurance and recent verifiable customer reviews before it can take bookings through WheelsAI.
Do I have to pay through WheelsAI to book?
No. WheelsAI shows pricing and availability so you can compare quickly, but the booking confirmation, payment and any deposit are handled directly with the garage you pick. We never store your card details.
Can I see prices before I book?
Yes. Indicative prices for the most common jobs (MOT, full service, interim service, brake pads, diagnostics) are shown on each garage profile. Final pricing is confirmed by the garage after they see the vehicle.
What if my car breaks down — can I book a same-day repair?
WheelsAI surfaces same-day availability where the garage offers it. Filter by "available today" and pick the soonest slot. If nothing nearby has same-day capacity, our recovery partners can be requested from the same screen.
Will my car warranty be affected if I use a non-franchised garage?
Under the UK Block Exemption Regulation, using an independent garage for routine servicing does not invalidate a manufacturer warranty as long as the work is carried out to the manufacturer specification and genuine or matching-quality parts are used.
