WheelsAI syncs with DMSs that offer API access — if your DMS does not expose an API, we cannot integrate with it.
Start with the operating model, not a vendor list
For most dealers, onboarding means moving the back-office workflow into WheelsAI. If a parallel system must remain in use, we first review what its API exposes and whether the required stock and status fields can be exchanged reliably.
The compatibility constraint
WheelsAI syncs with DMSs that offer API access — if your DMS does not expose an API, we cannot integrate with it. An API existing is not by itself a guarantee: scope, permissions, documentation and the fields available still need to be checked.
Agree the source of truth before data moves
A sensible migration identifies which system controls vehicle identity, price and sale status, then tests a small stock sample before wider use. That prevents two systems from overwriting the same record and gives the team a clear fallback if a field does not map cleanly.
